Unfortunately the sealer I applied really came out terrible. So I sanded it and I will be priming it today. I am using gray primer and egg shell texture paint. Hopefully the tape will be applied early next week.

Bobby dont use a sealer as the paint itself does the job. All i did on my first track was one cover with grey latex. Great traction, 10 yrs old and still in great shape. Copper tape over the paint.
Its in my garage , unheated unless a race day and never a problem with paint or tape.
My weather is just like yours lol.

Tracy....we have a group of about 10 racers. We race on Tuesdays at a friend's house. Thursday will be the night at my home.

I am in Cheektowaga , not far from St Joes hospital.. off of Harlem rd..... Tuesday nights is when our very informal group gets together .... Thursdays sound good though... what do you race? ... I'm in the process of going digital and that's what we have been running....though I still have more then a few analog cars ....slot its,, scaley, fly, Carrera, Vanquish.
