I like the powdered stuff. It dries more quickly than the pre-mix and is harder. This is particularly important if you are applying it thickly. It comes in various setting times. The quicker the set time, the harder the end product.

The bridges and overpasses on the BRP have a particular style, the same way the Natchez Trace and the Old River Road do. Are you planning to model them? If so, the double pass will be spectacular scenery.
