Building an Old Artin Layout Again

I had a version of the Dixon Hills Artin layout some ten years ago when we first moved to North Carolina. I replaced it with a routed track about eight years ago. I've always liked that Artin layout, so I decided to clear out some room in the basement and add a second track. This one is a mirror image of the Dixon Hills track. Everything is operational except the lap counter which is waiting for parts.

Wood is great but there's something cool about a good plastic set. I like it :banana-dance:

Here's some progress on the new track. Everything is wired up and working, including the Trakmate lap counter. Now it's time to clean up the basement area so my friends can come over to run some laps.

The track looks great!

Artin made some really good 1/32 scale products. It's a shame they are no longer making stuff.

Best regards,
Brian
