After a good bit of discussion with my group, we decided to change up the layout. All of us agreed it was time to try some new tracks. After seeing so many awesome oval short track cars posted on the HRW FB page, I just had to try a small oval. A 'Martinsville' style oval is what I put together first. It took quite some time to tear the track down, as the several coats of paint had essentially glued all the pieces together. Here are a couple of pics,

We raced on this Tuesday night, and we all quickly agreed that it had to go. Unfortunately, digital racing is not best suited for short track oval racing. I didn't enjoy it near as much as I thought I would. I would enjoy racing an analog oval track much more.

We built a new track tonight. I will be taking pictures soon, once I finish some more decorating, etc. :auto-checkeredflag:

This is another series we started a couple weeks ago. In this series, we are not making pit stops and are using the pace car feature for track calls. When someone crashes, the pace car comes out for a 'caution', everyone lines back up behind the pace car, and the racing starts back once the pace car enter pit lane. So in other words, this is a Nascar style race without the pit stops. We all enjoy it! It is different and a lot of fun.

Another great race in our 1/24 series. This series is going to be really close!

After extreme long hours put in by the construction crew, the new Snyderville Speedway is complete!

This track lives up to the name speedway a bit more. You really carry a lot of speed around turn one and onto the back straight. We raced on this for the first time Friday, and we all really enjoyed it. I think this layout will stick around for a bit.

Definitely looks a lot easier to drive. Looks good.

Our first 1/24 series was really close. Each of us one a race in this series, and it came down to the final race to decide the winner. Each of the series we are running will only consist of five races, and then we will start over.

We used stock rubber tires on our 1/24 cars. I love the marble build up in the corners. It makes it feel like a real race track!

Last Friday we had our biggest turnout yet at Snyderville Speedway with 7 drivers total. It was a great evening!

This was our first official race with marshals. Wow, that was a lot of fun. It is so nice not having to stop each time someone crashes. I hope we will be able to do this more often.

This was our first official six person race. We implemented 'crash and burn' ruling to try and keep the crashing at a minimum. It was three strikes and you are out.

Overall, it was a great night of racing, and it seems as though we have added a few more to our group!

Snyderville Speedway is now officially being ran by an adjustable regulated PS! It has made the racing experience so much better. The improvements are quite noticeable. This was the best investment I have made for the track so far.

Also, for the second straight week we had at least 5 racers! We are growing slowly but surely. Also, everyone is really starting to improve, and the racing is getting better and better all the time. Here are a couple of videos from two short races this past Friday,
