I think I am going to build a taller wall. My standard break-in procedure seems to include a plunge off the table within the first few laps.

So far nothing major has broken, and after that I tend to drive them a little faster.

Well, it turned out that I did get sick of looking at the digital chip through the car's windshield. So I went ahead with the business card interior tray plan. It's not perfect, but it does the job of blocking the electric goodies from view. No paint necessary. Just some scissors, a sharpie, and viola!


Perhaps this is not what they have in mind when they give these out with each order, but I guess the advertising works as SCC is the first thing I think of whenever I need interior trays. Thanks guys!


Here it is, no more naked innards and all ready for Thursday's maiden race. Well, I'll give it a quick windexing to shine it up, but otherwise it's done.

That is amazing work!!! That body rides really low so there's a good chance that car runs great. Please post the results. I have a few of those older Porsche cars, along with some Panoz cars that use the exact same chassis. I'd love to digitize a Panoz...the right way. Maybe I can do an old F40, Mercedes Sauber, And Audi too. Excellent write-up. And I saw the one that your friend CKS did with the Academy model. Both cars look great:)
