thanks guys - I have already ripped up the old circuit and most of the support sections as they were too narrow. Going to order more bits tomorrow, and then over the weekend widen the table a couple of inches and then work out the elevated sections again...

While I am thinking on this - is it necessary to have borders for 1/32nd cars? And what about 1/24th cars?

I made some of my own borders, I know a place that sells a black rubber mat that has peel and stick backing and is the same thickness as Carrera track
it cuts easy with a razor knife, looks nice

This place is amazing. That's a pretty good piece of ingenuity and information, there Jon. For a semi-permanent Carrera track... that's the ticket for inexpensive and good looking aprons!
