Does anyone know which lead is positive coming off the chip to the motor?

Our choices are purple or grey, I would assume purple but … we know what happens if you do that.

Building a digilog box, my reason for asking.

So the board is actually marked, outer is Pos. inner is Neg . Useless bifocals
