lane changer trouble-shoot

Me again! We have a Carrera double lane changer that only one side is working. All mechanics are good. Does anyone know how to test the sensor or solenoid? Tried firing the solenoid with a 9v battery (touched leads to the changer board) and it seemed to push out . Tested the working solenoid and it did what the bad one did so maybe not the solenoid. Tried to check sensor wires for continuity but not sure if it would read it. No continuity beep. All solder joints look clean on circuit board. Just won't give up on her yet. I hate when something is not working in our layout! We want to order DRS lane gates but this double not working is holding us up. If we cannot get her fixed we will not know which lane gate to get her as only one side works. Monte from DRS told us to still get the double gate even though only one side is working. Does anyone have gates on a bad double?? Will we still need the double if only one side works? Just dont think it is the board cause one side does work.

Fixed! Sorry bout the post! We ended up using parts from another bad changer to get both sides of our double to work! Ready now for them gates!
