Yes , that’s one of the reasons I’m getting the adjustable power supply. One for the kids , two to manage the faster cars like the 132 scale. I only have11 cars at the moment. But that’s changing by the week. A month ago I only had 4 cars. I know of at least 3 - I will be ordering this week. All of which are 124 scale. I have 2 124 scale , 7 132 scale and 2 143 scale. The 143 scale came with a track I started with is the only reason I have them. But they are fun. They fly and stay on the track really well. But I will not be adding any 143s. These cars/tracks are addicting. This website is addicting too ! LoL

Dangermouse , LOL ! I printed that one off to hang in my slot car building. I already feel kinda guilty when I order a new car . It may be because when my wife see's the order confermation sent to my email , and asks me , did you order ANOTHER car? Oh well. She'll get used to it.

Maybe it's because I just hit 50 and my eyes are not as good as they used to be but I love the 1/24 scale cars. Carrera cars are like diecast model cars so they are my favorite. Whenever anybody comes over they are amazed that Carrera cars are actually slot cars. When compared to others, even Autoart, Carrera cars looks much better. And because they are larger more detail is evident. Even though every part can't be made to perfect proportion to the real 1:1 car they are done amazingly well. When hearing and seeing 2 or more 1/24 cars go around the track nothing compares to that. I have 200+ 1/32 cars and about the same number of HO, probably around 100 1/24 cars.

When running 1/24 it's hard to enjoy 1/32, and when running 1/32 it's hard to enjoy 1/43 or HO. For some reason the larger cars are more addicting/satisfying for me.

The only reason they make these scales is that companies can't make enough 1/43 for demand!!

We do 1/24. So many available model kits available and so much more room for the chassis, besides being easier to see. When I was 13-14 years old 1/24 is what I ran and I am glad to play with the same toys 50 years later.

We run D124 mainly. With our setup, nothing compares. Pappy has been there. I don’t think it’s his style. The random events, pit stops and lane changing keeps it interesting.

We just started a D132 DTM series. The first race was good. Our second is this weekend.
