I want to thank everyone involved in making the Limited Edition Proxy so successful. I am very happy to see digital Proxy racing continue. I received my "trophy car" yesterday, and it is very nice. Actually, extremely nice. To answer my own question, printed on the box it says that only 1,999 copies of this model were made. My understanding is that 10,000 units is a break-even point for making a car, so this is indeed a special toy. The white body, with Red Bull decorations, celebrates the 25th year of DTM Racing.
One of the very cool things about digital proxy racing is, you don't have to race on a digital track to enter. Just add the appropriate digital chip to any car that meets the rules and you are racing a digital car! If it runs well on an analogue track, it will no doubt run well on a digital track. Just a little encouragement to anyone sitting on the fence. Join, it is fun.
