Wiring digital Carrera car for analog proxy

Postby Burrell » Tue Mar 14, 2017 8:33 am

If I were to want to enter an analog proxy, but needed to prep my car on my digital track since I do not have an analog track, would I need to change the polarity on the car after it was ready. This is assuming I also remove the chip prior to sending in the car (and do not replace it with the analog chip that can change the polarity).

No, you should just be able to unplug the wires, remove the digital chip and plug in the remaining motor plug to the guide wire plug and off you go.

At least that was my experience.

Ditto, I actually did the reverse for the digital proxy Burrell. Testing on my analog wooden track, (Ferrari 458) then popped in the digital chip for the proxy. I think the only thing Audi had to do was flip the switch as I had it in the wrong direction.
