Slow refueling on Carrera digital track

We raced tonight and the track had a control unit. Previously the blue tooth device had been plugged in. The refueling rate was horrible. At one point I went from first to 2 laps down during a pit stop.

Is the speed of refueling adjustable at all?

If you updated your CU or have an updated CU, the refueling takes longer. While it is annoying, the other guys have to sit in the pits longer too.

Yeah I think it goes from around 4 seconds to 10 seconds. Some people like the added time as it's more realistic.

agreed but I only like it because it gives you a second to take a drink or view your stats. As for getting it back, you could mail your CU to Dave K. and he may be able to get it back or buy another CU.

This may be a throwback to the Rules of Slot Car Racing 'Hot Dog Race' from a recent post. I think you're supposed to eat a whole hot dog before continuing. Unless the CU is in 'Cream Puff' mode, then you have to eat a cream puff without using your hands.

Might be even better if napkins are only available after the race or require another pit stop.
