Last call to come out and join Interstate Home Slot Racers (IHSR) for its season kickoff at a member's home on Saturday (tomorrow as of this writing)

All slot racers, of all scales and preferences, within driving distance of Darnestown, MD (about 15 miles north of DC) should come join the best bunch of guys you'd ever wish to race with. While it's unlikely that you have in your box as of this moment class 'legal' cars, we always have legal loaners and controllers for visitors or guys checking us out for the first time. The day will start with the host opening his home for practice/bench racing/tuning around 8 am. His track is a wonderful 80' routed four lane road course.

We'll run the first of 4 classes around 10 am. After running two classes, we break for pizza lunch (pitching in a few bucks is the only 'fee,' and even then if you don't eat pizza, you don't kick in) with more bench racing and practice. After lunch we run the last two classes, with things wrapping up and folks on their way home by 3 to 3:30, usually. Depending on interest and at the host's discretion, there may be a 5th race in IROC format with cars supplied by the host.

It looks like 10+ racers will be there for the season kickoff, and that's with 3 or 4 of our regulars 'Absent With Leave' for a variety of reasons.

If you're in the Mid-Atlantic area, have been running laps alone or maybe with one or two other folks, come give us a try!!! We've been active and running slots every season since 1995.
