Interstate Home Slot Racers New Season Schedule

The Interstate Home Slot Racers begins its 2018-2019 racing season in October. Current dates are below, likely more 2019 dates will be added.

We race on wood and plastic home tracks. Because our racers come from Tidewater Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, our race events need to be on weekends, almost always Saturdays. The day starts with the host opening his home for practice around 8 or 9 am. Racing starts 10 am. Two classes are run before lunch, then two more after pizza. The scheduled classes are usually over around 3 pm, with folks on the road for home. Based on interest and host's discretion, an IROC race might be run.

The club's been active since 1995, and is made up of the best bunch of guys you'd ever want to race with. Each event is 'freestanding,' in other words we don't run a points series. We forget who 'won' within 24 hours! All skill levels welcome, the 'hot shoes' are more than willing to provide advice and sometimes even hands on car preparation.
