First IHSR event of 2018 on 1/6 in Darnestown, MD
Posted: Sun Dec 31, 2017 3:58 pmInterstate Home Slot Racers will kick off the 2018 leg of its season at a member's home in Darnestown, Maryland. (Montgomery County) on Saturday, 1/6.
The venue is a fantastic 4 lane routed track, about 70' lap length.
The host opens his home around 8 am for early risers, bench racing, practice and tuning. First of 4 classes is run around 10 am. We usually get through 2 classes before breaking for pizza lunch (the only cost to race is $5 kick in if you eat pizza...$0 if you don't). After lunch, we run the last 2 classes, winding up the regularly scheduled activities, with everyone on their way home, by 3 or 3:30.
Time and interest permitting, the host may opt to run and IROC race.

We always have loaner cars and controllers, so don't let not having the hardware hold you back from a day of racing with the best bunch of guys you'll find.
