On Tuesday September 11 we had four racers. Dale king made his first race appearance. Along with Dale, Rick and Mat Turner showed up and with me that made a foursome. After some practice and a little debate we elected to race Slot.It Group C cars. Rick loaned his recently acquired Sauber Mercedes to Mat, Dale borrowed my Slot.It Mazda 787B, Rick borrowed my Jaguar XJR6 and I drove my Lancia LC2-85. Rick jumped into the lead at the end of the first heat, Dale was two laps back and Mat and I were four laps back. I won the second heat but the overall order stayed the same. By the end of the fourth heat Rick won the race completing 123 laps, Dale finished second with 119 laps, I was in third with 117 laps while Mat finished with 111 laps, one of his best outtings to date.

That completed the evening's activities. I think Dale will be back to participate in many more races. Here are the results.

We race Group C and 'another category' each Tuesday.

HOWEVER, we can race just about anything if you and yours make the trek on some weekend.

We would love to have y'all come down for a visit. We do reciprocate.

Tuesday Sept. 25th is race night. Slot.It Group C and maybe Scalet F1's

On Tuesday Sept. 25th we had five racers at DeBary Glen. They were Marty Stanley, Rick Turner, Chuck Eakin myself (Bob DeWoody) and Robert Parkinson. We started the first race, Scaley F1, before Robert arrived and Marty drove the first heat. Robert arrived before the start of the second heat and took over in Marty's slot while Marty took over duties as race director. Rick lead the entire race finishing one lap ahead of me, Bob DeWoody, Chuck was third and Robert Parkinson fourth.

The second race was Slot.It group c. Again Marty served as race director. Also again Rick won the race with his new Sauber Mercedes, Chuck came in second with his Mazda 787b, I was third with my latest Mazda 787b and Robert was fourth with his Sauber Mercedes. Congrats to Rick on his double win.
