Next IHSR race is this Saturday, 4/1 in Abingdon, MD
Posted: Thu Mar 30, 2017 5:55 amIf you're in the mid-Atlantic area and feel like spending Saturday, 4/1 racing 1/32 scale slot cars in Abingdon, MD you should come join the Interstate Home Slot Racers for its next scheduled race day. Abingdon is off of I-95 a bit north and east of Baltimore.
The layout is a 4 lane routed track, in a member's home. Typical race day is host opening his home around 8 am for practice/bench racing. First of 4 classes is 'off' around 10 am. We run a couple of classes, break for pizza lunch (but feel free to bring something else), then run the last two classes. The very last class likely will be an IROC Trans Am with cars supplied by the host. Things are usually wrapped up, with folks on their way home by 3 pm, more or less.

Don't have class legal cars? No worries, we always have 'legal' loaners to get you started. And of course in the IROC race everyone is running the same cars.
