There will be a joint race with the Northern CT club on March 9th at Tolland Super Speedway.

I am impressed with these wood tracks. I may need to go wood!!!!!!!!!!

We plan on doing an IROC race for vintage F1 cars and an open class "run what ya brung" race.

Very nice track, made a little more interesting by that squeeze section.

For the IROC race four Scalextric vintage F1 cars were used and those stayed with their lanes while the drivers rotated. Before the race time trials were run using the same car and lane. The results of the time trials were used to select two man teams with one driver from each club. The drivers from each team ran alternate lanes, so only one driver from each team was on the track at any one time. Two races were run so that each driver ran all for lanes. The cars were fun to drive.
The second race was open competition, I ran a car that was easy to drive. We are looking forward to doing more races of this sort in the future.
