I've now completed four (4) rounds of Chemo Therapy out of six (6) scheduled.
Also a series of twelve (12) successive Radiation sessions on the Thoracic Tumor discovered in September.
The Radiation "cooking" or shrinking of the mass relieved the pressure it was exerting on my Superior Vena Cava near the heart.
Only plus to all this is that I've managed to dump a little over 50 pounds in the last 20 weeks. (But I'm hairless now)

So I've come to the realization that my vintage 1960's slot car collection. And modern cars must find new homes in the near future.
The vast majority of my stuff collected over the last 50 years will be offered for sale through eBay auctions.
Many of our modern racing items have already been given away free to local racers in the Ocala / Marion County area.
Please understand this is not a "for profit" sell off of our stuff... Having cancer isn't for sissy's folks..!
It's simply trying to keep ahead of what my future holds for my wife, and friends.

Thank you for allowing me state our situation.. :auto-checkeredflag:

Vince,
Thanks for your kind thoughts and wishes concerning my recent cancer diagnosis.
It was a pure pleasure meeting and racing with you, Vince.! Always great to bench race with
another USAC stock car series enthusiast from the 60's & 70's.
Your McCluskey / Nelson Roadrunner brought back many fond memories of the races in Milwaukee.
I'll try to keep everyone posted as to what's going on with us, as time goes by.

After six months of cancer fighting chemo therapy and radiation treatments.
Our oncologists have declared me in full remission of the metastasized small cell lung cancer I was diagnosed with.
The first time since last September I felt well enough to do start building slot cars again yesterday.
Modern medical technology is nothing short of miraculous...
Thank God for all my doctors expertise.!

Only time will tell if we can resume our slot car racing event hosting activities in the future.
But we're headed in the right direction again.. Do'n better day by day.
Thanks to everyone who prayed for us during this ordeal and their notes of concern.
