After a nearly two year hiatus I'm pleased to announce that one of Pennsylvania's premiere dirt slot racing clubs has returned. PSAR (Pennsylvania Scale Auto Racing) has returned with a new track but some familiar faces. The new club track is a four lane, three scale 4x15 oval named Outback Speedway. When running 1/43 scale, lanes 1, 2, & 3 are in use and when running 1/24 or 1/32 scale lanes 1, 3, & 4 are in use. Great planning on the track by Tom, it came out great. The first race was this past Sunday, November 18. We had four racers show up as a fifth was called in to work. The classes are broken up into two racing programs. One week we run all 1/32 classes which include sprint cars, midgets, late models, pro stocks, legends and dirt modifieds. The following raceday we will be running the 1/43 and 1/24 divisions which include 1/24 street stocks, silver crown sprints and flexi nascar, along with the 1/43 classes of metal chassis dirt modifieds, stock rtr nascar and plastic chassis late models. It's great to be back and look forward to many great days of racing in the near future. Will have some pics to follow after our next club race on 12/2.
