Wanted NSR Mosler EVO 1 ( first generation ) Motor Pods

Postby Disco » Tue Feb 12, 2019 7:29 am

I'm looking for motor pods that are from the first generation NSR Mosler EVO 1. I have been round and round with NSR to try and get a part number but they do not have it on record. This pod has not been manufactured for over 10 years, so I'm hoping someone has a couple laying around some place and wants to off them. It is white in color. None of the currently produced NSR Mosler pods fit, not even the 1222. It is rectangular in shape. I have 2 of the EVO1 chassis and need the pods. Thanks, Disco.

Disco,

Is the motor pod approximately 1/4" shorter than the current motor pods? If it is I have one.

Here's a picture of the original pod included with the 1001, 1002, 1003, and 1004 complete moslers:

Also you may be able to make the shorter NSR1248 / NSR1247 / NSR1249b pods work, if you use a bracket to extend the front screw. Otherwise perhaps one of the many 3d print shop designers would be able to help.

The pod I've got is about 1/4" shorter than the current pod and has three separate holes where the one pictured has one long hole.
