Got my HRW glue station the other day. What a nice piece of kit as they say. Beautiful fit and finish. Nice accessories. Just buy it.

A couple of notes about the glue station:

The drip-fill toothpicks are specifically made for glues and lacquer. Replacements can be obtained from Stewart-MacDonald (http://www.stewmac.com/Materials_and_Su ... picks.html ). You really don’t have to wipe them clean, just don’t leave a lot of glue on them, and they can be used many times.

The fender washer, besides making an interesting noise, keeps the dowel from piercing the glue cup when removing.

Also, you will want to coat the threads of the glue bottle with petroleum jelly, or something similar, to keep the cap from being stuck.

Finally, thanks to SCC for facilitating this project and making it possible for every penny of the $9.99 to go to HRW.
