I saw that too Dan, pity it won't do some metals like brass or soft steel.
Mind you I suppose it will do pc board.
With 3d printers and these laser cutters and etching kits , we are closing in on some very cool home use technology.

Yep I'm with you there. It would be great to be able to laser cut andnor etch a piece of brass or nickel plated steel for chassis and other small detail parts like steering links etc.
Its just down the road I bet.
