In thinking about this...one could also easily use plastic tubing for these. The design is so simple it really lends itself to these lights.

Have you hooked them up yet? We'd probably really like to see that!

Tie the reds together and the grounds together. It will work just fine.

An old model railroading trick for wiring multiple lights, was to run two parallel bare wires following the roadbed under the track table. You run positive to one and ground to the other. As you add a light, you just hook to the wire system already in place under the track. Very cool system. anything electrical that you add to the track can be instantly tapped into the power grid.
