ShowMe Speedway control upgrade

Postby HomeRacingWorld » Mon Apr 07, 2014 6:22 pm

Just had these come in to day from Slot Car Corner. First, thanks SCC for fast shipping. Getting these here in time for the big race is VERY much appreciated.

I still like PARMA and would recommend them to anyone just looking for a great value. They worked for our track for over 10 years.

But these controllers are a great value as well. The difference is welcomed. They really are smoother and will work just fine for our modest oval.

I see those are specially tweaked to work down to 10 volts.
Any idea what they'd do on 8 volts?

Work fine at 8. Just ran about 25 laps on that voltage, pretty smooth to me.

Well Dave, you are welcome to try mine.

Great controllers. That should wake the layout up!

I've done both, the Parmas just fit my hands better...must have lost weight with all of those salads...

That's ok, Lee and I discussed an intervention. Prepare yourself and remember, no need to thank us.

DixonJohn has never tried them before. So it was a perfect test to see him run with them. He felt they were much better and low/middle range is just what we wanted.

Like anything else, it's all personal preference.
