Vintage Track side Photos

Benjamin Moore flat acrylic latex left over from the dining room walls. No I didn't fill the joints. I'm sure they would just re-appear with movement. No I didn't tape the rails. I was just careful and any paint that did get on them scraped off with my finger nail.

Your craftsmanship and vision to this hobby is inspiring. Would you, please, tell us more about the wheels and tires on your creations? My local slot car hobby shop doesn't carry anything like this and looking at your photo's is sending my brain in a tail spin. :clap:

I think at this rate you'll inspire a few folk to try some of the delicate pre-war beauties. The track is becoming such an evocative back drop for them. Excellent work.

I have some of Pete S-T's 'modern' 15" wires. I'm really not game to tackle them. I should've asked him a price for build service.

It's kind of a niche, Ember. I love them, but I was raised on them. Not that many North Americans were. What might be of greater interest would be some of the old Ford dirt track racers like this. Kind of like the midgets, but full size racers. There must be a few old kits out there that could be bashed.
