1/32 Track Buildings and Figures

I received 4 Scalextric Pit Garages and about 50 mini track figures with the Scalextrics track that was given to me. I want to find out more info about them and how people use them to add realism to their tracks. I have been looking at a few online stores and wondering which one would have the most information about them - availability/price? I do not know what figures I have and it looks like a mixture of different brands. What is the most common?
