Thanks, David.
I also wanted to comment on the carpet squares. These 2 foot squares have a think rubber backing, and very tight weave on the carpet. The edges are machine cut and they lay next to each other seamlessly. Two boxes of 12 covered the 16 x 6 table in a 3 x 8 pattern. The boxes were two different colors so we went with the checkered pattern. The four section table has seams running the center of each axis. While I did my best to build each section true, there is up to 3/16 variation in some areas along the seams. The long seam lays under the center of the middle squares and is completely hidden. The short table seam lays underneath the carpet square seams between the middle squares. I was afraid this seam might not hide as well but you can’t see it either.

The most pleasant surprise was the noise. I don’t notice any difference in noise between running on the table and running on the floor.
I anticipate the biggest advantage of the squares will be in moving and storing the table. The squares are heavy enough that the do not need additional glue or tacks to hold them in place making removal very easy. They will also be easier to move and store than a single piece of carpet rolled up.
The best part is they we’re free. I got them from the flooring company that recently did our home. I was hoping to get a discounted price on extras they had laying around. The two boxes were indeed leftovers from previous jobs. I had hoped to pay a discounted price and was blessed when he told me no charge. So, if you think this might work for you, check with your local flooring outlets for a deal.
Now, off to install jumpers and the power supply.
