New routed track question.

Building my first routed track. I will be running carerra 1/32. And 1/24 scale cars. What is a good lane spacing for these cars ?

Agreed, I did 4 inch spacing on my little 4x8 three lane oval and works well. Both scales look great.

I agree with Harry, 4 inches. I was pushed for space so I got narrower on the straights. Also for the 1/25 cars leave more space for them to swing out on the outside of the corners. I cant remember how much I left on the outside of the corners, maybe 6 inches. Harry could confirm.

On my 4 x 8 oval, I left 6 inches for the outside. My 'wall' is some 3/4 vinyl for a wall, I just routed a slot for it and dropped right in. Clean and ready for advertising. LOL.
