Just to show you how good those guys are, here is my attempt!!

Did these with Sharpie markers and hit them with dullcote.

Hey Dave!

You set some pretty high standards with great ideas to mirror!!

Still need to hit them with more dull coat and I am awed by how taking the bases off adds so much.

I saw mini sticky tabs at Hobby Lobby and will try that too!!

The cars we paint are moving around the track and the "motion factor" hides a lot!!

And unless I can get the people moving some how I am going to need additional painting skills!!

I travel way to much by plane, and the TSA is not very cooperative when I have 6 - 8 bottles of paint in my carry-on!!

Which lead me to the Sharpie alternative!!

Great relaxer back at the hotel, and I can only imagine what the cleaning help thinks with an army of these on the dresser!!

You guys are getting seriously good at this! Really wonderful to see different techniques and styles -- all great results that add to the realism of our miniature racing circuits.

Thanks,

Silicone enhanced? No, that's for tires. Must be modeling putty.

I don't know much about doing it.

But I know a cool scene when I see one.

Your work on the jackets, shoes, etc is just that: COOL.

This whole project is an inspiration for others. Sharing what you are doing is priceless.

Ditto on Johns comment, sharing the wealth of experience is another thing that makes HRW great.
Nice work on the wee folk by the way, they fit right in.
Kudos

Here's my take on the RMS Resin figures and accessories. I'll paint the bases (puddles?) to match where they are going to stand.
