Good work with the homemade *Trammel Arm*.
Ovals are pretty straightforward to build; use the Trammel Arm for the semi-circles and create a Fence to run for the straights...
The size is great and it looks like it will be fun.
The 3 and 3/4" lane spacing will be tight for 1/24 running, but this one is built for 1/32nd action so that should be more than enough. Like the others, I would also say fool around with the wedges and banking to try for that slight 'parabolica' effect.
Watch the exits of turn 2 and 4, it looks pretty close to wall slapping - you may add a little more room there - this will be a fast track - it may need a bulge for extra clearance, an extra little cantilevered apron maybe. You might even want a little pipe insulation or padding on the walls as a safe barrier, and that takes up a few inches as well.
The table corners probably should be positioned a bit more under the turns, creating a closer to rounded shape to the overall table, once the trackside walls are in place. That way they won't snag people walking around the oval and it will provide more room. Kind of like a commercial track setup.
Arithmetically, it is probably very close to an actual scale model of a 1/4 mile bull ring in 1/32nd scale.
Keep up the good work and quick progress - it is inspiring - makes the reader want to build an oval!
