Rebuild of MaranathaFlats

Postby jcis4me » Thu Aug 21, 2014 4:49 am

Hi Guys
I am rebuilding this...
Image
A bit shorter (space restraints), Asking if I should leave the straight flat on the surface and cross over the turns, or flat the curves and the straight to go over the curves?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I would think, from a marshaling standpoint, that keeping the straight section as the underpass would be best. :)

I agree about keeping the straight below and the curves on top but for slightly different reasons. From a driver's standpoint you should try to avoid having corners obscured from view by overpasses. If the curves were below you would have to drive the last one, the one just behind the car, blind. Good luck on your build.

Thanks for the input, just was thinking about a challenge not being able to see one of the turns, but I am with both of you and leave it just like the old one, will post pics as soon as I can find the camera, (just moved again).
