I love the wiring diagrams fastened to the terminal blocks!
Great idea. Nice job.

Just a quick question, I see you applied the tape to the braid and then laid it in the track. Is this preferable to applying the tape to the track then laying the braid on to the tape ?

Thank you,
John

Yes indeed. You don't want that tape collecting any dust, so applying it to the braid first and mounting it as shown is the way.

Do the guys at SCC sell those nifty wiring diagrams for the blocks? The more I think about it, the better I like that idea.
*Nevermind. I just went to look at the wiring kits to see if I could get them separately, and they are so cheap, I may just get the whole thing when I redo the track this Fall. I already decided to use all this braid I have leftover from the big track.

Wow!! Hard to believe it's been 5 years since this project!!

I still remember the fun time Bob and I had on our trip out to the HRW headquarters. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago. Someday I hope to make the trip out there again... :D

You guys are welcome back anytime. When someone asks if it’s worth it to braid...well, here you go. Not a problem one and still going strong.
