Reconstruction of US 28 Speedway

After turning my original oval into a road track, I got the bug for another oval but no place for one.So I decided to hang one on the wall. The new one measures 5x10 table size with 4 inch spacing. I went a bit heavy on the gutters at seven inches to give more room for retaining walls inset into the track like the old one was.
Should start taping and running power taps in the next couple of hours.(Waiting on paint to dry up) AS for now I'm going to tack a couple of boards to the ends so I can play on it. Hopefully I will be putting some laps on it this evening.

Looks great so far. I'm interested in that '56 Ford. Is that 1/32 scale? Plastic or die cast?

The Ford is 1/24th with an H&R chassis.

Sorry Jeremy. :violin: We here in MO. make a plan and attack!!!(LOL)Actually I do have a week in it. 4 days. Thats a doctors week isn't it??? :lol: Just kidding. I had 4 days with not a whole lot to do so I went after my track.
Hey Fastco, The truck is the ED Roth release from Revell.It's not a bad kit but I will say the cab on mine was twisted quite a bit. The wife, a hair dryer and about 1/2 hour was needed to finally get the cab strait. The Monogram kit is worse in a since that it has the floor pan and the bottom of the bed and running board molded as one.All of the late examples of that one has a twist at the bed floor.It can be straitened but takes more time.
