Road course test track

I am building a smaller indoor test track for our family room, I currently have a 4 x 16 Suzuka in the garage. I finished the routing on Sunday and only have one area to clean up and that was due to me forgetting which way to go with the router. It is very loosely based on Harry's MidMo road course. I had to make it in two pieces to make sure it actually will fit down the stairs. the track is 11' x 40" and the widest part goes to 48". One section is 80" and the other is 52". Image

First coat of Chalkboard paint, I am using gray instead of black
I think 3 coats should do it and hopefully will be taping on Sunday!

Norb helped with the bondo'ing and sanding and we routed slots for the walls on the curves.

Getting closer to being finished. The track is powered but I need to wire some taps to ensure even power. I also need to find some sheet plastic for the walls. Need to do some scenery to make it fit into the family room...

I am ready to race on this one soon.

What a great track you made in the space you had to work with.
