Modeldrome II 3x7 apartment tester....

Postby SRQSloter » Tue Jul 04, 2017 1:09 pm

Hi All, Just routed this today. As you can see still have gains to do. Single lane tester silicone track this time. Pyramid power using PM controller with brake and sensitivity controlled. Still a lot to do and things to purchase. (again)

Hope I did this right. Using my phone.

I see it now. What is the specific nature of this silicone base? Is it a 4x8 sheet? How thick? Did you rout it?

How ya doing Way! No silicone base. Going to be running silicone tires this time around. Something different than I used to It's 3x7x1/2 routed.
Will just be running plastic chassis. Not getting into scratch builds.

Got the gains done and ends rounded. Now to get it attached to the 2x2's.

Looks like a smokin' little track. If I may be blunt, a track made of one sheet of wood won't give you any trouble with joints. With a nice flowing layout, there shouldn't be any chronic bottlenecks when racing, either.

Finally up off the floor. The back and knees were not liking the floor. :)
