What are the dimensions? Interested in seeing your build. Fred was looking at building an oval and it will be good to see how you do it, especially if you are planning to make it semi-portable.

I have a 4'x16' routed oval track. It has 3.5" lane spacing. I found that to run my 1:25 cars I have to use lane 2 and 4. 3.5 is just very tight for most new racers. 4" would be best if you have new to slot car racers.
Just my 2 cents worth.

I'm joining the sections with ¼"x4" threaded bolts, fender washers, wing nuts and 5/16 nuts for spacers. Using the bolts was easier and less expensive then threaded rod.
I also didn't get time to route today and hope to get it started tomorrow.

Looking good. Should be a very fun track to race. So those are 2by2s rip from 2by4s under the MDF. Do they even sell 2by2s. Good job Indybob
