My all-time favorite track David! Your attention to detail is superb! Even down to the "stainless steel" counters in the concession stand and the "nails" in the split rail fence. Awesome!

I've had about another 30 figures I've been painting up and finally had the time to "plant" them. I also played around with my photo software on my night pictures. Part of the fun for me is doing this type of silly stuff, but it really allows me to enjoy my track.

I have some nice looking, fairly period correct soft-LED light poles coming from eBay. I hope to get those installed when they get here to light up the spectator area and paddock a little better for my new-found love of night racing.

Outstanding, Dave. Love the close up photos. Now excuse me while I take an axe to my track......

BTW that fence looks very familiar!

I agree. Very inspirational. I like the scenery and am following the same path with my layout.. Painting figures and planting them reminds me of making and planting trees on my model railroad. They just seem to disappear. You can get 100 ready, plant them, and you need 500 more!!!!

Great work

Dan

Yes, but do they all have names? After a couple of hours, do they start talking back to you too?

Fantastic work Dave. This track gets more and more life-like every time I look at pictures of it.
Your photography is first-rate too.
