I love three dimensional slot car tracks. My funnest cars over that hump are the Carrera Classic Nascars. You crest that hill with the power dialed up and the car going pretty fast. Hitting the brakes as you just break over the top of the hill will keep the nose down in the slot while the tail end gets airborne. You can hear the bump as the rear wheels make contact with the ground just in time to allow the braking tires to haul her down to corner speed. If your car doesn't slow, it will go head on into the vaulted ceiling at the end. That is why I have two natural sponge "shrubs" on the outside of that corner. They cushion impact if any car that shoots the corner. I like to tune my cars nose heavy precisely for running in this section of the track.
