Fun Racing Today

Postby HomeRacingWorld » Fri Oct 05, 2012 4:27 pm

Had a nice visit with HRW Jim today. We ran mostly our little Trans-Am/SCCA cars we have been working on, but eventually we dragged out quite a few over the afternoon.

Like these :) Doc Reinecke repainted the Monza and he did a GREAT job. What a blast these were.

Here is part of the models we have finished.

See how I get treated? I guess the Bratwursts were not to standard.

Sort of the tone for the road course today.

Jim made this special Pioneer for me. SCC Steelys sets it off. What a hot rod! RMS Resin interior.

Finally a little oval action.

Thanks Jim, had a blast. Cars are scattered everywhere...just how it should be :)

Thank you Harry. This day was just what the doctor ordered. Had a blast! We raced about everything. We also raced several others on the oval that Harry didn't touch on. Carrera classic Nascar in several varieties that Harry had tuned to perfection. Harry, I am glad you like the Stang. Greg, David did an incredible job on that repaint. I was lucky to pick it up. Thanks again Harry, it was fun. Jim BTW the brats were great but the Vette was just too pretty. LOL

Looks good guys! Wish I could have been there!

Jim, take care of that Monza - I get first dibs if you sell it ;)

The Carreras you guys are building are awesome as are the Ninco Corvettes! The Mustang tho, it looks the business!

Just running a few great cars turns out to be fun. Fun is what I like to do nowadays. I'll leave the racing to the younger guys. I'm going to have to make the trek to HRW HQ one of these days. I've got a few cars I can bring. :laughing-rolling:

David . you did and excellent job on the Monza but if you want it back I would be happy to do some horse trading to get it back to it's rightful owner. The Stang did run well, I really like the way it looked ( and ran) with the SCC steel wheels. The interior had lot to do with the performance because of the increased air flow over the OEM. :liar: I may hit you up for another interior at some point, if you have extra. Jim
