I'll be the first to hold up their hands when they ask "Who can't do what they did at 25?" But I guess I was smart enough to realize that earlier in life.

My Dad used to tell me, "Son, when you get old, if it works, it hurts!" Dad was very correct.

It's not the vintage, but the mileage!

No I'm not going out to run a marathon tomorrow. Hey, if I don't have a bear chasing me, I'm not going running anywhere, anytime!!!! I'd rather see how much I can get done on a slot car and make it even better.

All of a sudden I'm having pinched nerves in my right arm. I have started to learn how to drive a slot car left handed, so I'm just getting ready for the next step.

Remember, we are all getting older. Hopefully we are all getting a bit wiser as well.

When you guys were kids, did anyone tell you that everywhere you get injured as a kid and young adult will be the places that arthritis hits you? Nobody told me that. I have arthritis in ridiculous places. This is not fair. Like Mickey Mantle said, "If I had any idea I would live this long, I would have taken better care of myself."
