Crazy slot car stuff

I just got word that a guy here in town has covered his Carrera track with Flex Seal, that spray or paint-on rubber stuff from TV commercials. First of all, has anyone ever heard of doing such a thing? And, this guy is bound to call me to clean up his mess sooner or later. He always does. As far as I can tell, the best way to get that stuff off is acetone, and mineral spirits are a slower alternative, but either of them is likely to damage Carrera track. This especially true as it seems a scraper is needed after the solvent is applied. Does it peel off? Should I be ready to tell him he's on his own with this one?

II jused that stuff on a concrete well where there was a leak.
I. It didn't work
2. It pealed after two weeks.
3. It ain't cracked up as it was advertised.

Flex seal you say. What an idiot. Everyone knows roofing tar works the best. Lots of grip.

Waay,
I believe Flex Seal is similar to Plasti Dip and as such should peel off when dry. I was going Plasti Dip between the table and track, but saw was going to be expensive.
The greater the texture the harder it is to peel off. Look at videos off people peeling off of cars and wheels
