Hello Guys, About My Wife Doni,

Postby cantstopnow » Mon Jul 02, 2018 8:08 pm

I tried to keep people updated but just got to be too much. Doni wanted to make our 30th wedding anniversary, and that she did!! We where told there was no way by our Doctor and Nurses, but they didn't know My Wife. But after that the downturn was rapid, The last few weeks where very hard. Tuesday the 23rd of June I found her unresponsive, She was breathing but not responsive. The next morning she was very coherent for a few hours and then started to get delusional, a state she mostly staid in from then on with moments of clarity. Four days ago she was back to not being responsive. On Sunday at 10:45 Am Doni lost her fight with cancer, She past quietly in Her sleep with Me by Her side. She had made Our 30th Anniversary, And that was so important to Her. I miss her already, but am surrounded by Family.

Thank You Guys, John W.

P.S, Slot track still up and cars are running.

John,

My sincerest condolences. I'm so sorry to hear about Doni. I know you two have had quite a rough patch over the past few years and I'd been praying for you.

I'm truly happy to hear she was able to celebrate 30 years with you.

Please let us know if the HRW family can do anything for you.

Hey John, my wife and I have read your post again and again. We have been together 46 years, and we see a heartbreaking number of our peers (like you two), who experience ultimate loss. Many times, here on HRW today, from the friends we had in other places we lived over the years, and of course, from family, we seem to repeatedly be witness to these tragic events. As always of course, our sympathies and prayers are with you. I hope she was on Hospice Care, for your sake. So many times, we have seen Hospice save the loved ones of the terribly ill from the worst of the experience, as it was indeed, a relief for us when my mother died. Our hope is for you and yours to be at peace in this time after the long fight is ended. We are veterans of the fight with cancer, and we are currently going through it again with my closest friend of 48 years, my lab partner from freshman chemistry who is beginning chemo for a belly full of stage 4 bad stuff.

John

HRW is the only online 'social network' I participate in and through our interactions this is a sort of an extended family. Thank you for sharing your loss with us so we can keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. When these sorts of things happen it reminds us what is most important and puts things in perspective.

As David said, if there is anything we can do please let us know.
