It is so great to see somebody with so much to offer be recognized and get another job doing something he ob.viously loves. This is a win, win, win for Hornby, the hobby and for those of us who love the hobby. Now, I hope Dave keeps his presence on the boards doing his normal great job of keeping the hobbyist informed about coming product.

I was hoping this would happen. In fact, I had a gut feeling it might. I'm glad to hear this happened for you Dave. Scalextric will be better off in the US market. Very smart move on Scalextric's part. As far as I'm concerned, the investment Scalextric made in Dave will easily be paid for......in fact, I feel more sales will come their way because of this hire! :twocents-mytwocents:
