Painting tip for SpeedyNH!

Answering a question posed by SpeedyNH, this is the paint I use for my special projects! I cheaped out and bought the kind without logos, but I have a bunch of bottles of those.

Next time, hold the can upside down. I think the car would look better with the 2 colors reversed

I like it- very clever. thanks Bob! I figured that you had something up your sleeve.
(and all this time I was looking for curved paint, not flat. that explains it- the labels were incorrect.)
next time I'm in Ace, i'll look for a can.

Here's another tip about blacks. Duplicolor makes an engine paint that is "Low Gloss Black" that is perfect for convertible tops and vinyl roofs. Also, those late 60s hoods on several Mopar muscle cars. The 1968 Satellite 440 had a square field of low-gloss black on the hood that was very striking, as was the 1969 Roadrunner 383 with two wide stripes in low gloss black.

Speedy
If you find the two colors in one can :laughing-rolling: you'd better buy all the can's they have. :auto-checkeredflag:
I've had good luck with Flat Clear's
:text-threadjacked: True story
I have been a big fan of the low gloss black hoods, in the winter time when the sun's out
our County plow trucks had bright orange painted hoods, we painted them flat black with flat clear
they turned out great and the sun didn't blind us anymore. :banana-dance:
