removing dealer stickers

This may not be the best forum to post this so please move it if it is warranted.

I just bought a new (used) car and I would like to remove the dealer sticker attached to the trunk lid. Does anyone know what dealers use to remove these stickers without damaging the paint and finish? Thanks for your help.

If it's a vinyl sticker, a hair dryer/heat gun, soft plastic scraper (or your fingernails) and clean up the remaining goo with rubbing alcohol. The fancy plastic ones: heat gun, grab it and pull off and clean up with alcohol.

Thanks for the help. Here it is. BMW 328i, 2 door coupe. One owner and only 63,000 miles!
Not sure why the picture doesn't fit, I edited it down to 850 pixels wide.

I had a Koons Ford sticker on my Chevy. Used car.
Skin-so-soft. I found a little raised site and worked it in. 30 minutes later it was all gone. No muss, no fuss.

be very care full with the 3m rubber disc. it can burn the clear coat on some paint jobs.been there done it. its not a good thing when it happens. does not take much use to do it.

A hairdryer and my finger has always worked well for me. A little WD-40 for any remaining goo, then a quick clean and some spray way will work.

Just needed fingernail and little Isopropyl to clear up the residual goo.
