HRW old board?

So, if it's not too painful or political, etc, what happened to Homeracingworld's older board? I recall the transition way way back when we converted from the original board to another. Then, after I stepped away from the hobby for three years, I come back and see this new board. Not complaining, just curious.

...I think I can remember something about Miss Cindy raising a group of mercenary "Jumbuck Rascals" to try and take over the last board because H had pinched her favourite slot car or something like that....

I think it was about changing to this format so the forum would be more flexible for our needs.

A better deal for all I think, its a really neat board IMHO :)

Yeah, I had nevver seen this kind of board before. On a hobby filmmaking board, they use the one HRW migrated to before this one...it always feels a bit like a dentists forum over there for some reason. This board is pretty good for ergonomics, etc. I like it.

Made the move to our own server and software to rid ourselves of the third party nightmares. The YUKU system was always changing, and because they employ programmers that are just like my IT guys at work, nothing ever got better, just worse.

System crashes for ours at a time with no reason. And no credits for that lost time. Photos, posts deleting at random.

So we decided to build our own. It is faster, much more stable and there are no pop ups regardless if you donate or not.

It was just time to have our own, and so far seems to be doing ok.
