Painting 101

Westley's Bleche White is a product for cleaning and brightening whitesidewall tires. Its a spray bottle like Windex, and it is the very best at what it does. I started with it in the days of Goodyear Polyglas raised white letter fancy street racing tires. That's back around 1967 or '68.

Some of theses products mentioned my not be available in Canada
but I'll see what I can find.

Dumb question, maybe. But what do you mean when you say colorsand? Wet and dry emery cloth?

How did you make the ghosted monster decal for the trunk in that picture? Why is it holding a camera?

So Dave :?: I painted, then 2 light coats of clear, decals are on, 2 more light coats of clear, now I sand and more clear?

And you've had absolutely no issues with mixing and matching colour coat and various different formulations of clear?

What do you think about 2 or 3 colors ?
Does the base color bond well enough to stand up to masking tape ?
