Don't get too excited. I'm doing a Cincyslots livery 1st. Once the rush slows down and it's proven to hang with the others, I'll make something else.

I think it's great. A gulf repaint is always a welcome addition. Although accurate, the stock paint job is so busy it deters from the lines of the car and the air inlets. I was thinking of buying a second car and repainting as a Gulf version or a solid color just to see the lines. Would love to be able to reproduce that flat metallic blue I've seen on exotic cars.

I reckon it would look good in black with silver accents and a #2 on it

What did you strip it with?

First time I looked at the pic I missed the motor soaking in 'Mystery Go Fast Juice'. I soak the body in 91% alcohol to remove paint, but the motor? What do I not know? Some secret here or am I waaaaay behind the power curve? What's up with that?

I should have spent more time on it. It's pretty plan looking but it's going into battle. I need to reassemble it this week. I'll post a pic when I'm finished.
