It's because he isn't a painter, we can't see them

Pretty odd, I saw them before, a gold car with black wheels, but it could have been a mirage!

I saw this car in real life tonight at racing, and I can assure you that Alwyn is more of a painter than he claims. You can see that he even blended the gold paint with some new type of invisibility paint..
No actually, when he does get the pics posted, you will see that he has done an excellent job.
Cheers,
Keith

I love how that paint reacts to the light I thought you said you're not a painter?

What?
He didn't paint blend that burnt orange into the gold in pic 3?

Alwyn,
Hey, I've got a can of Tamiya candy orange back in Vancouver. When I get back, how about we give it a spray?

You joke but I actually did a test piece before painting the car: I wanted to do the gold with a light cover of Tamiya Clear Red! Unfortunately it came out essentially ALL red, so I stuck with just the gold in the end.
And now that I have the car done and looking at least somewhat acceptable I am not touching it again!!!!! I will settle for OK rather that trying to make it better and mess it up completely!
